The Cavern Club
If you’re looking for an exciting night out with great atmosphere, then you need to check out the Cavern Club. Be submerged in the history of The Beatles and visit the venue that hosted their very first performance back in 1961. Listen to new upcoming bands as well as well-established performers. Open 7 days a week this is the place to spend your evenings getting lost in the incredible music ranging from Rock and roll to solo acoustic performers.
The Museum of Liverpool
Based right on the waterfront you can find the Museum of Liverpool. Discover the history of the City where you will be surrounded by 10,000 year’s worth of fascinating history. The museum is a great day out if you’re looking for something to do on a budget, with free entry this is a great day out for visitors of all ages.
Take a trip to Liverpool Cathedral and admire the beautiful historical architecture. It’s free to look around the main part of this 20th Century Gothic Cathedral and we defiantly recommend a visit, as you will see that the high Gothic arches and the Grand Organ, which is the largest in the UK can really only be appreciated by visiting and seeing it for yourself. Have a bite to eat at the onsite café before you take the trip up the tower where you can take in the breath-taking views.
Found 20 minutes walk from Liverpool Limestreet Station you can immerse yourself in the renovated Victorian Warehouses where you can find four free museums, experience the Beatles Story which is the largest permanent Beatles exhibition or discover your new favourite meal at one of the many restaurants. There’s so many to choose from you’ll be spoilt for choice.
