You can’t miss it! Towering over the River Mersey connecting Runcorn to Widnes, open to both vehicles and pedestrians, you can walk along and take in the breathtaking views. This will be the best viewpoint to take in the golden sunsets over the river Mersey.

The Brindley

Opened in 2004, The Brindley is an award-winning, state of the Art Theatre and Arts Centre. Here you can find a hugely diverse range of entertainment, from Musicals, Films, Pantomimes, Spoken Word acts, Comedy nights plus much more.  With an extensive choice of shows, at the Brindley, there is something for everyone.

Runcorn Ski Centre

Whether it’s your first time skiing and fancy learning a new sport, or if you’re a professional on the slopes, at Runcorn’s dry slope Ski centre you can put your skills to the test. The Ski school can help you to improve your confidence and ability where you can learn as part of a group, or if you prefer you can schedule 1 on 1 lesson with your instructor. This is the closest you’ll get to the real thing in the North West of England!

Norton Priory Museum & Gardens

There’s always something to do at the Norton Priory Museum & Gardens, this multi-award-winning restoration site exploring the history of its 900-year-old medieval monastic ruins.  You can always find the most recent events to take part in on their website, ranging from events, workshops, talks and tours. You can also visit the large Georgian walled garden which is well worth a visit in the summer.

Welcome to Middlewich! Situated in the Heart of Cheshire and surrounded by beautiful English countryside. Well known for its renowned waterways and its tight-knit community, it also boasts a fantastic connection network to nearby major Cities, such as Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. If you’re considering relocating to this unique town, here are a few things we recommend you try out for yourself!

FAB Festival

Enjoy music festivals? FAB festival 3-day festival, which runs every year offers a weekend packed full of live music, traditional morris dancing, street performers and a “floating market” where you can find 100’s of beautifully decorated narrow boats. The FAB Festival can be easily found in the centre of Middlewich, so head down on the 15th June till the 17th June and experience the FAB festival for yourself.

Farmers Market

At the local Farmers Market, you will find the largest selection of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as produce from local Butchers and farmers within the surrounding area. This will be the best place for you find seasonal produce and unique products that you will not be able to find in any other large superstore chain. The Middlewich Farmers market runs the first Saturday of every month, from 9 am – 1 pm at Wheelock Street, Middlewich, Cheshire CW10 9BL.

There’s nothing more relaxing than sitting back and taking in the beautiful surroundings while peacefully floating along the UK’s waterways.  Travelling from Middlewich, you’ve got easy access to Llangollen, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Runcorn and Manchester. St Michael’s Church

Visit a piece of English History and visit Middlewich’s Norman stone Church. St. Michael’s displays elements of historical Norman Architecture, however, it was badly damaged during the Civil War and extensive restoration has been carried out. If you’re looking for an exciting night out with great atmosphere, then you need to check out the Cavern Club. It’s free to look around the main part of this 20th Century Gothic Cathedral and we defiantly recommend a visit, as you will see that the high Gothic arches and the Grand Organ, which is the largest in the UK can really only be appreciated by visiting and seeing it for yourself. Have a bite to eat at the onsite café before you take the trip up the tower where you can take in the breath-taking views.

Albert Dock

Found 20 minutes walk from Liverpool Limestreet Station you can immerse yourself in the renovated Victorian Warehouses where you can find four free museums, experience the Beatles Story which is the largest permanent Beatles exhibition or discover your new favourite meal at one of the many restaurants. There’s so many to choose from you’ll be spoilt for choice.
